Oldest working tech or appliance in your house that you refuse to replace?

Defy Fridge, almost 25 years old, re-gassed it a few times, but the things compressor wont die.
when they truly made things that actually last
Regassing means there's a leak, shouldn't that be fixed?

my G8 microserver and old internal hard drives (still have some old 250GB and 500GB drives that still work and i use them for software and O/S backups)

the microserver struggles as a media player nowadays since it cant really play ultraHD because low profile graphics card to do that are too expensive and won't really work with the limited TDP compatibility of the microservers mobo and PSU (30 watts allowable but cards that can play 4k generally have a TDP closer to 150+ watts)

so i use it as a daily e-mail rig with light browsing and some downloading as well as storage capability (still) and absolutely nothing wrong with these old school methods because they still do the job i need done - don't need to stroke my ego to pay big money for newer solutions to make some other cants on these forums happy and those morons who ask what year this is can happily go stroke themselves

PsOne console lol
Glad you reminded me. I still have a PS2. Oldest tech in my house I guess.

Followed by 2006/07 Sound Blaster speakers that I'm still using today... and my dstv dish lol. Everything else is relatively new.

wife bought a hifi in 2001. still plugged into the TV for proper sound for action movies. still plays CDs on it when we feel old school cleaning house with rock music pumping

I was sitting in a Teams meeting the other day, taking notes with a pen that, is at least 71 years old and writes as well as the day it came out of the factory.
