I tried to get mine to work but it said my subscription doesn't include it.

I went to Amazon Luna i think its called and connected my Amazon Prime and Twitch account but it did not seem to work

Got one of those as well. Connected to the Prime channel. What a load of unadulterated horseshite. Hope there are some TV shows worth watching, because the movie selection is terrible.

I don't order from Amazon. Is there any other advantage to it, or is it just a waste of time?

I had a Prime Video subscription already, it should be converted to a Prime subscription at the lower monthly cost of R59, I'll convert to annual when I am able to.

I took the annual sub on launch. It allowed me to get the free trial month and only charged me the R399 this month. It's a no brainer especially taking into account the additional 15% prime discount on essential items.
