Sen Lindsey Graham dies at 71 after ‘brief and sudden illness

Is she not being appointed at Trump's direction? Suppose it doesn't matter as the appointment is wholly political.
I mean it is the senate, which is a political body. It is a symbolic appointment rather than a political one though. It's not like she has had a career in politics and is now using this as a step ladder.

It's a nice gesture from Trump and the Governor, but not the right one.

A proper political appointment would have been better, like picking a state senator. Someone with legislative experience who doesn't have to learn as much to become effective.

She's a vote. That's all that is needed of her. A well paying sinecure for her and a safe vote without upsetting anything.

How Lindsey Graham's Death turns McConnell's "Hospital Photo" into Even Bigger Story - Blaze TV

Senator Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) died suddenly over the weekend, but President Trump is making clear that his final wish was for the RINOs in the Senate to fight for the SAVE America Act.

Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) resurfaces with a TOTALLY REAL proof-of-life photo. I guess nothing to see here, right... ponders BlazeTV host Sara Gonzales.

At least four prominent anti-gay campaigners caught in compromising same sex encounters...

If it was one person I reckon you could call it an outlier, but given how often politicians turn out to be massive hypocrits in other areas of life, I think it's safe to say that there are a lot more out there.
It's certainly not a phenomenon isolated to the US nor conservatism. It's probably because politicians ultimately need to play to their base. If their base is homophobic, they need to be homophobic. If their base are pro-LGBT then they need to be pro-LGBT. It's all about getting votes to stay in power. What they personally believe matters a lot less. Their whole industry is based on lying/appearances.

I'm not sure this applies to this Graham fellow, I know very very little about him. I can probably count the times I've seen him before on one hand. Could be one of those times where personal belief happen to coincide with what his base wants. It's just when I saw him he sounded and acted like a sterotypical camp gay man. High pitched lilting voice, mincing about. It was wild. To find out he wasn't openly gay is actually pretty shocking to me. I had just assumed he was and it was public knowledge.

However it's wrong to just assume things like I did. Yes he was a little camp, and yes it seems he never took a wife. That doesn't mean the fellow was gay though.

If he was pushi\ng homophobic rhetoric, and supporting Bills that presumably were anti--gay though that's pretty sad. People need to get out of each other's lives as much as possible. If you're gay great for you. If you're straight great for you too. None of my business really.

He died from cardiac arrest (heart attack for the normies :p )
Probably got too excited seeing all them drones and his 70y old heart could not handle it.

Now he found out the blue eyed dude with the crossed fingers tricked his ass into the fire. Time to suffer.

I thought he died from an aortic transection?

That's a trauma injury normally.

/edit sorry it was dissection not transection, which is caused by arterial disease.
