Tips to Boost your eBucks - 1 July 2026 to 30 June 2027

purrrrfect, let us know.

If I remember correctly, it does work.

On a side note, anyone know how to pay a Vodacom bill at Clicks or FNB Pay Bills?
Yeah online bill payment works at 15% so expect this should work. Will report back in 30 days.

It certainly does work.
I am PC and capped at R2500 p/m at Clicks.

R2500 x 15% = 375 and x2 (doubled ) because i did these online payments on 15th (family day).

Eo effectively 30 percent back on your purchases or bill payments on the 15th.

Right, I’m making it a recurring reminder on my calendar. :D

And the R2500 payments I did was about R2k City of Cape Town Easypay payment and R500 electricity.

Mmm a bit confusing, doesn’t look like partner shops work with Fusion:

11. Device and Appliance offer

To qualify for this promotion, you must:

  • Take up a qualifying product from the eBucks Partner Shop (iStore or Hirsch’s) on the FNB App between 1 July and 30 June.
  • Pay for the device using your Credit Card, and when you opt-in at checkout, the purchase value will be moved to your FNB Private Clients Credit Card budget facility at an interest rate of Prime +2% over a budget period of 24 months
  • OR purchase a device with your FNB Fusion Private Clients Card and opt-in to the benefit at checkout
  • Qualify for the eBucks Rewards Programme and be on reward level 3 or above.
  • Have a minimum monthly spend of R8 000 on your virtual card linked to your FNB Private Clients Credit Card or FNB Fusion Private Clients Card.
OR

  • Take up a qualifying device from FNB Connect on the FNB App between 1 July and 30 June.
  • Pay for the device with your FNB Fusion Private Clients Card OR through a FNB Connect fixed-term contract.
  • Opt-in to the benefit at checkout
  • Qualify for the eBucks Rewards Programme and be on reward level 3 or above.
  • Have a minimum monthly spend of R8 000 on your virtual card linked to your FNB Private Clients Credit Card or FNB Fusion Private Clients Card.
  • There is an additional FNB Connect SIM plan spend rule for fixed-term contract purchase only. View the FNB Connect terms and conditions for more information.
What is confusing?

The text you quoted specifically mention the Fusion card twice (as payment option for the Device and Appliance offer) at the partner shops and Fnb Connect.

The first block refers to Partner Shops and only mentions credit card. The second block refers to FNB Connect and mentions both credit card and Fusion. Earlier in the rules there weren’t that differentiation.

Any in app towards checkout it says this so seems Fusion is confirmed. I’d rather not pay interest.

Edit: feck I see it’s on a separate line, my bad.

On a side note, anyone know how to pay a Vodacom bill at Clicks or FNB Pay Bills?
I don't think you can pay Vodacom directly via Clicks (only does EasyPay payments) or FNB Pay Bills (supports EasyPay and Pay@, but only numeric references). If you have a Vodacom contract then the easiest way to pay the bill is in the VodaPay app. I used to have a top-up contract and could pay that and my Vodacom fibre in the app, but when I canned the cell contract I could no longer pay the fibre bill via VodaPay even though it's still the same account number. Since then I've only found one way to pay them online without using an EFT.

Vodacom doesn't publicise it anywhere on their invoices, but they do accept Pay@ payments on the Pay@ site. Your reference number is 11084 + your Vodacom account number (including the letter at the beginning, but excluding the dash). eg: If your Vodacom statement shows your account number as A1234567-8 then you can pay your bill at https://payat.io/qr/11084A12345678 but the catch is that they won't accept card payments. They will accept 1Voucher payments, so if you want to pay your Vodacom bill with eBucks you can buy a 1Voucher with eBucks in the FNB app. If you ultimately want to pay by card, choose a platform that lets you buy a 1Voucher and pay by card without fees (Zapper is one example).

So am I understanding correctly.
I should stop contributing the R3000 to money maximizer (don't see any benefit in that) and up my saving to R2750?
Money Maximiser does fall under the savings category in terms of eBucks reward level points, that's what I use.

Can you be more specific about where or what do you want to put the R2750 into?

Edit: if your R3k is going into a money maximiser each month then you should be good for this rule:

"Grow your FNB Savings Account(s) by at least R2,750 per month.
Double your points when you grow your FNB Savings by R2,750 every month and have a Scheduled Transfer/Scheduled Payment."

Are there specific savings accounts which apply for this?

I am pretty sure I have a savings account and have about R3k going there monthly, but I dont get yhe points

Any help?

Are you on Private Clients, what exactly is the account you're putting funds into?

You can cancel anything you like, you just won't get the points for the behaviour they are trying to entice out of you.

What else can be paid via FNB pay bills? Im on PC and need to spend R2500. My COCT bill is mostly under R1800 so dont want to over pay by R700 every month. I certainly need those points for L5.

Fidelity ADT works via Pay@ if you have an alarm contract with them.

Hi, First of all big thank you for trying to help.
I feel like this is an easy question but struggling to get an answer.

I opened an investment account a while , not 100% sure on the details .
On the portal it's listed as Investment Account (individual).

I need to try save some money for the next few months and was simply wondering if canceling my R3000 for money max or R2500 for this investment will have any affect.
