Thinus Ferreira says DStv's loss of premium content on M-Net is forcing more DStv customers to turn to piracy

Bottom line re their non-sports TV - if they don't play the hero role they're going down.
I think they'll be ok as long as they hold on to sport. Remember the uproar when they didn't want to sign up for the IPL? There's none of that around this time with this non HBO development.

There are a few that i'm missing.

Euphoria season 3
The Pitt season 2
A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms Season 1

That's enough to subscribe to a service in itself... excluding stuff I don't even know about.
A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms was also boring as it's mostly just penis jokes. Game of Thrones has run its course now.

Haven't seen the other two so I wouldn't know. This article is literally implying that you should sail the high seas and I'm sure you'll find a way.

I enjoyed the books - but its a slow burn. They will have to make all the books before it becomes interesting.

How does one pirate series these days ? Its been so long for me.

I just run a Plex server and use Sonarr and Radarr to grab whatever I want to watch. Easier than to subscribe to all these services and being bound to listings regarding date and times.

I buy IPTV for sport, so I turn it on and off for rugby mostly. Just paid R660 for 6 months and have ALL the sport channels in UK, Europe, SA, OZ, NZ and USA. Zero buffering for all the usual frothing IPTV neigh sayers...

One could almost say that crime is a culture in this country. Well, some sectors a lot more than others anyway. Got the wife Amazon for a steal and she seems happy enough, personally I haven't watch 'TV' in years, not enough time to sit through an episode of a series let alone a whole movie.

Game of thrones?? That started 15 years ago and finished almost 7 years ago. So it long ran it's course

Canal+ driving DStv customers to piracy

DStv's loss of premium content on M-Net, including nearly all major HBO and first-run Warner Bros. Discovery shows, is forcing more South African customers to use illegal streaming and torrenting.

This is the view of veteran broadcast journalist Thinus Ferreira, who told 702 that the loss was due to Canal+'s refusal to sign an extended contract with Warner Bros. Discovery.

Canal Plus the reason why Sony PSN movie owners got their entire 500 movie Canal Ploos catalog delisted, and no refunds.
