Bad news for South African passport holders

Anyone who knows anything about how the Schengen Agreement works knows that no individual Schengen country can just unilaterally declare that certain countries no longer require a visa to visit a Schengen member state. These sorts of decisions require the agreement of every single Schengen member, and if agreed to, would apply to every single member, not just one individual country.

This story makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.

Who cares? Spain has also been overtaken with cheap Chinese shops and Paki cellphone stores. Might as well just stay home.

This will always happen until we get proper biometric passports like Zimbabwe, Mozambique and others - and not the rubbish we have now that every Nigerian in hillbrow can print.

I have my doubts given Spain is a Schengen country.
