Bad news for South African passport holders

A popular European country has granted visa-free access to 8 African countries for up to 90 days, but South Africa has been excluded.

Anyone who knows anything about how the Schengen Agreement works knows that no individual Schengen country can just unilaterally declare that certain countries no longer require a visa to visit a Schengen member state. These sorts of decisions require the agreement of every single Schengen member, and if agreed to, would apply to every single member, not just one individual country.

This story makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.
