Computerised learners licence testing causes the pass rate to fall from 63% to only 17% in the Western Cape.

I am shocked that this actually changing for the better. I love how the official is complaining that prospective learner licence holders are failing and not passing and that need to be able to pass for various reasons such as accessing education and employment. Completely disconnected with the fact that the burden is on the applicant to know their material and not only learn a handful of question and answer pairs by heart. Only that way and only if everyone is actually knowledgeable of the rules will things on the road slowly change for the better.

I for one am celebrating this randomised question and answer situation as it will force all prospective learner licence holders to actually know the rules. And know them very well.

Up next would be the diving test requiring demonstrated driving lessons and actual driving ability outside that outdated K53 yard test and very basic road test.

one of my staff is going for her learners ..I took her with me the other day to town and asked her about road markings (Where they still exist) and road signs...

She ain't gonna pass...
I don't get it; K53 is short and basic. How can one not learn it?
I originally did my bike learner's first, passed my license test first go too. Same with car, and no, no bribes or any form of enticement was involved. Just my rugby shorts, tekkies and small t-shirt:ROFL:

I failed my first driving test within a minute. Rolled back a tiny bit at a Stop sign and that was enough for Inspector to fail me. Eish..

That’s how we did it in the 90s 😂

Yeah, when you hear that, what you actually hear is "You're amazing, a racing driver, the best"
Aaaaaand a ditch
I made the front page of the newspaper when I crashed dad’s car 2 weeks later behind a church in the pastors back courtyard down a 10m embankment. “student protected by angles”.
