Political Analyst Prince Mashele said that the way the ANC plays politics is to tell black people that white people are the problem.

I'm not routinely exposed to this grass roots level of ANC politics, but I wouldn't be surprised if whitey is the root of all problems and Apartheid is coming back should anyone even think of voting for another party. Politicians will tell you they can spin lead into gold if it keeps them in power, and racism seems to sell pretty well in SA.

From my side I don't blame black people when things fall apart. I blame those in power. Those responsible for maintaining the piece of infrastructure that just fell apart. In South Africa that's almost exclusively the ANC. The people making the decisions in our government, and the ANC, are overwhelmingly black people, but the ANC != black people in general.
