New Eskom company gets approvals

Eskom has secured the required key approvals to proceed with the establishment of Eskom Green, a company to hold the utility’s renewable energy business.

Last month, Eskom announced that it had formed its Eskom Green division, a wholly-owned utility-scale business, in order to pursue the goal of adding 32,000MW of new renewable power to the national grid.
