Leon Schreiber has a message for people that pay for shortcuts at Home Affairs

The Department of Home Affairs (DHA) is cracking down on corrupt officials within its ranks and has dismissed seven officials in 2026, while at least four people have been arrested.

Home affairs minister Leon Schreiber said the department had frequently secured dismissals, arrests, and prosecutions as it ramped up its clean-up operations.

Does the minister know that at many of these places everyone from the cleaners & security guards to the most senior person are all in on it ?

Same for drivers licence renewal, just last week someone told me that R400 get's you ahead of the queue,a quick mock eye test where the result doesn't matter and then straight onto the cashier.

The person that arranges everything is not even present, everyone from the security guards & higher up are all in on it and receive a cut.

Everyone is on it ? Really ? Name some of those many so that some of us can see if they can report it anonymously.

Ditto as above.

seen it, controlled from the top down, and all are either getting a cut, or are afraid of being fired or worse.

Queuing and a mock eye test? That's so outdated. For slightly more you can get your renewed license without setting foot out the door. Same for car registrations, it never has to leave the garage.

The staff purposely work slow so some people can pay jump the queue?

Off with their head.

A massive 6 arrests when the entire department needs to be gutted

Guess this is what is known as The DA Difference
