Technically we live in Africa. Everybody with a inverter and battery installed to cover loadshitting has a coc for insurance purposes. Also, zero people have been fined with this setup either because you're technically a criminal but nobody cares because its africa. Its only when you start robbing the politicians of the gravy after installing panels on the roof then its a problem.
Yeah, when I checked the NRS inverter requirement is only applicable when you have Panels it looks like. That’s why they don’t care about you registering when you only have inverter and panels.

I see the "CT coil" is the inverter itself. It needs to be installed in-between the meter and the house DB.
Powerforum owners are the ones that said Solis is the only NRS approved offgrid inverter. I would tend to believe them even though they are pushing Solis brands at the moment. They seem pretty decent and would buy over a Deye or Synsync. Especially a Sunsync with all those screens of theirs going dead.
Still cheaper than a solis.
See my last post. Its considered a hybrid and not offgrid. And google lied. Its on COCT approved list as NRS approved and as a hybrid inverter
Nope. And Eskom installs Solis on their PV stuff so it passes all their requirements. They are also fanless etc if not mistaken.

Navasolar is the brand of his batteries. If Cavedog gets an issue with his Nava he will get the same support Lupus got which is basically nothing. Kinda like me and MUST. Messaged them and they responded with "Do you want to be a distributor". I said no and wanted to know something else and got the middle finder of silence from them.
I shudder to think how much solis batteries are.
