Kimberley is quaint for arrivals, but the departures waiting area feels a bit like a holding cell. The tractors are cute

Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport (MQP), located 16km northeast of Mbombela (Nelspruit), South Africa, is the primary gateway to the Kruger National Park.

Featuring the world's largest thatched-roof terminal, the airport connects safari travelers to domestic destinations like Johannesburg, as well as regional routes to Victoria Falls and Livingstone via carriers such as Airlink.

Other. You left out Richards' Bay and, for that matter, Margate. At Richards' Bay, baggage handling consists of a Ventertjie heading out to the plane.

They are all pretty bad. Cape Town International's domestic is quite nice, but international is terrible. Very cliche decor.

Your sample size is going to vary quite a bit and therefor the result may be skewed in favor of the major airports - most of us will never experience the smaller airports, the might be right up our alley If I would hazard a guess.
No one minds not needing to Taxi 5 minutes to "that departure way over there."

Richard's Bay. Spent many hours flying back and forth to that airport and sitting in CotchAir's business class lounge in the early 90's.

O.R. Tambo at least has decent viewing decks, and it's more to watch. Fair eating options too IMO. But haven't been to C.T.'s for ages, and Lanseria can be fun.
