100%My daughter is now 6 months and we started her solids/baby-led weaning journey with whipped roasted pasture-raised/grass-fed bone marrow, mashed cooked free range egg yolk & breastmilk (and egg whites – no reaction), and avo. She also tried avo maki last night and loved it. So cute. Next we will be making bone broth and doing things like chicken liver, steak, etc. with less focus on starches and very little focus on carbs.
I've been outspoken about it before and will say it again: Parents are only shooting themselves and baby in the feet by mushing and pureeing food.
Our little one now 1 year only ate pure purees for the first week just to get used to solids introduced textures ASAP he now eats everything we eat, smaller bite size pieces of some but he has had over 120+ different foods now,
He also feeds himself. My wife has breakfast with him during the week and nanny does snacks and lunch with him during the week then we all eat supper together at 6pm. Weekends we do lunch and breakfast with the little guy and supper separately still need "couple" time.
