Yes, we got one translated into English (Digital version). More funny than anything else. Using a literal Japanese-to-English translation. "The boat flipped over on its arse, and the diggy hole made water"

I haven’t come across a recent popular anime with a bad English dub. The bar is really high.

I’ll generally watch in English but with the OG subtitles. Will switch to Japanese track if I don’t like the dub.

Witch Hat Atelier has a particularly strong English dub.

Opposite here. Once a hyper Japanese female pierces my eardum with her voice (annoyingly common), I switch to English.

Up to you whether it counts or not, but I enjoyed Gate a lot. You just know its gonna be good when Ride of the Valkyries starts playing.
