KFC looks set to dominate fast food in South Africa for another generation, with Standard Bank data showing that it attracts the most spending on takeouts among under-35s.

KFC is not bad. I don't really see much need for the others. KFC for fast-food chicken, and Nandos for something healthier. The rest just appear to be trying to be clones of either.

30 years ago when you could still taste the 11 herbs and spices. These days with the bland taste and premium they charge it's a ripoff.

I haven't had locally much, but i was in Europe recently and popped into one for a quick lunch between meetings, and it was actually very nice.

I'm team Chicken Licken, but their value has dipped over the years. Pieces seem smaller and their prices are no cheaper than KFC.

Still the better chicken, IMO.

Why? their prices seems the same as KFC
2 piece chicken and chips, both are R39.99
Hungry lion does not even have 2 piece with pap and gravy for R39.99 That fills up a hungry tummy quickly.
