We bought the 1kg ‘Avozilla’ from Woolworths – this is how big it really is

Let me see if I got this right... you bought a "1kg ‘Avozilla’" and didn't think to weigh it? Instead you "measured" it against a can of soda, a water bottle, and a macbook?
eh ? Do you guys weigh something that you buy from woolies ?

Isn’t that what Americans do to avoid using the metric system
No, I'm pretty comfortable with the metric system.

Edit: besides, they're the ones who compared it against a 13inch macbook. ;)

Americans use metric whether they like it or not. For around 70 years, the inch has been defined as being 2.54mm (rather than defined as something else which equates to 2.54mm).

This is so stupid.
Even the normal size ones I often make me a Avo toast and then sit with half an Avo left that I must make another toast later the day or something else.
WTF are you going to do with 1kg of Avo to eat it in the same day?

A few things are metric but most is still in idiot.

My brother sent me this, he is currently in Iowa.
