When President Donald Trump launched the Iran war, one of his chief goals was to stop Tehran from funding proxy groups in the Middle East. Those proxy groups, he noted, were responsible for wounding and killing scores of US troops.
When it comes to whether Russia is helping Iran target those Americans, though, Trump seems remarkably incurious.
And that’s become a pretty familiar posture for him.
The most recent example stems from Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth’s testimony before a Senate committee last week.
When asked whether China and Russia were helping Iran, Hegseth cited “ways in which both of those countries” have been “enabling some of the things Iran is doing, yes.”
Two days later, Secretary of State Marco Rubio ignored a question about the subject while seated across from Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
Then Trump issued a social media post contradicting Hegseth. He said China and Russia were “in my opinion, not participating” in the Iran war because their leaders had assured him they weren’t selling weapons to Tehran.
None of the proposed overland pipelines come close to the volumes that were exported. In addition, overland pipelines are exceedingly vulnerable (show me a single one outside of targeting range). The largest proposed make a beeline for Yemeni-controlled territory. Iran itself has far more options to Asia / Western Europe.![]()
Shipping alternatives to the Straits of Hormuz being considered, and issues with each | Jeff Newman Law
Multiple governments and planners are scrambling to build or scale “Plan B” routes, but everything on the table is partial and expensive rather than a true replacement for Hormuz. This is a Western fantasy.
Saudi Arabia's east to west pipeline which exports 100% of their production is buried and hidden and has not had a single strike yet as the terrorists always miss. It's amazing how you blissfully endorse terrorism.

Reminder that the US openly and happily boasted about hitting civilian infrastructure in Iran.Saudi Arabia's east to west pipeline which exports 100% of their production is buried and hidden and has not had a single strike yet as the terrorists always miss.
No they haven't. They have given multiple warnings to not attempt to traverse the strait unless using the Iranian corridor and under Iranian guidance The ships hit by Iran tried to run the blockade.Iran is doing/has done the exact same thing in Hormuz. They can fvck off.
Every time I see that MANPADS thing I think of some sort of men's panty liner!!

It's not hard to understand, unless you want it to be because 'Iran bad' or something. I would like to remind you that once again, Iran didn't start this war.![]()
By your logic, Russia would be in the right to bomb key factories in the EU for helping to produce drones.Has Iran hit civilian shipping? Also, threatening and firing on ships for trying to use the Omani corridor? C'mon. They can get fvcked for that all on its own.
Regards your comments about issuing warnings and who is involved in what. Iran supplies Russia with weapons (notably drones). Ukraine has repeatedly warned them to not do this, back in 2022, 2024 and again more recently. If Iran gets to run around, threaten and attack shipping, they best not cry wolf. Even less reason to say something when one considers their connection to Russia's war effort.
And read back on my comments on this. While I have an extremely low opinion of Iran as it is under the IRGC (along with their puppets across the region), I have been extremely critical of Trump's role in this mess, so no, my opinions are not just ''Iran bad''. My position is they have no room to be upset when they are dictating who goes where and firing upon civilian shipping.

Article 5 lmao, get real for a second. Spain, Italy...Germany (lmao), is not mobilising because a factory used to make drones in Poland is hit.You don't think they would have done something by now, if not for Article 5?
They have made repeated threats about escalating the conflict and warned other countries, notably the UK, that their ''assets'' could become legitimate targets after they began supplying long-range missiles. But they know doing so will risk invoking Article 5 and then its GG for them.

i'm afraid you are going to need surgery, my areseless friend !Article 5 lmao, get real for a second. Spain, Italy...Germany (lmao), is not mobilising because a factory used to make drones in Poland is hit.
With that said, if Russia was scared of Article 5, lmao,
