I also dropped a few times between 14:00 - 14:30 today in CPT.

I'm also noticing EU west ping (dota) from CPT is 200ms today, vs 160ms usually.

Hi there, are you able to provide an IP for me to check? Not seeing anything obvious for international from CPT at the moment
 
Been dropping for 10 seconds at a time today, Openserve, CPT area
 
Deleted my previous reply because I mistakenly thought I may have posted my public IP 😅.

Not sure if it is related, but I have also been having drops to League of Legends EUW server since about last night. I am on Vuma trenched in JHB. I have some tracerts, but I wasn't running PingPlotter while in game so I am not sure how useful they will be. Will see if I can get some better data later tonight.

HI there, yes it would be related, as international traffic from JHB has to traverse the JHB<>CPT NLDs, which are having issues at the moment unfortunately. We will provide an update once available.

Thus from JHB, you would see issues to CPT and International
From KZN you would see issues to CPT and International
From CPT you would see issues to JHB and KZN

EDIT: I don't see issues towards RIOT last night though, so that may have been something else.

the cool ideas provided cudy wr1300, 15-20 seems like the baseline minimum, but sometimes while the pppoe session is active it would jump to 30 and stabilize there, then i redial pppoe and its around 24, redial pppoe again and its up to 30, redial again, now its back on 16, the one i showed before was when it randomly decided 60 is good. it's like playing the lotto everytime i redial hoping to get the good oneView attachment 1924801

You can flash that router to OpenWRT ehich may or may not improve things. Hardware kept acting up for my TP-Link (required weekly reboot) so I switched to X86 machine with OpenWRT and the TP-Link just serves Wi-Fi now.
 
Anybody else just lose connection? Fibre is up on the ONT but PPPOE is down on the router. Tried rebooting and still not working. Tried different router too. Went down around 9:45pm.
