US Politics: Full Transp██████

Contempt of congress is a more serious offense than perjury.
Incorrect. Or quote your sources. (Other than your feely-feels, of course)

And perjury is lying under oath. Interesting that you think he can be trapped into lying under oath.
Some comprehension fail again on your part. They don't need him to perjure himself. They simply need anything that would enable the mere accusation of a perjury statement from him. That's why he is not answering anything.

Why would the truth change?
**chuckles in "no new wars", "2020 election was stolen", "they're eating the cats and dogs", etc.**

Perjury? As to statements made when? If the statements were made in the pardon period it would be covered.

If you think he is liable for perjury then why are you defending him?

Are you sure you are not confusing it with contempt of congress? Which is what he is going to be liable for right now.
You guys really are clamouring around this, but rather clumsily. Look, you don't believe any comment, why don't you and brother rietie pull up prompt some AI (take your pick) and ask the machine if he would be liable for perjury under these circumstances. It's a simple "yes". The attempt at entrapment is quite simple.

Contempt of congress is less serious than perjury. Again, no need to take my word for it, ask the AI of your choosing. Simple fact.
