'They came with machetes' - deadline looms for migrants to leave South Africa

I remember buying into that shït for a bit, quickly hopped off when I realised "no...no, it's just all shït".

EDIT: forced censored naughty words, because we're all big boys here
We may be big boys but our government, in the same way as the UK counterpart, thinks our four letter words are an issue.

So it was always cheap imports that was the problem. They are just tagging on to this issue because they want a government handout.

The local industry seriously need to look in the mirror and go out of business if it is cheaper to ship a very inexpensive heavy commodity across the ocean.
We should be producing sugar for less than the shipping cost.

Hope they have learnt their lesson, there are levels to this thing.

There was no lesson learnt. The remote workers are using South Africa as a piggy bank to extract rent from all walks of South Africans, now using this to justify it as restitution. Of course, our honourable government institutions are blissfully unaware, sponsoring the extraction process.

Eish, the comments. Some are truth bombs while others are just poo flinging.
