Three stores have capitalised on South Africa’s affordability crisis, offering groceries for up to 65% cheaper than major retailers.

Was just talking about how expensive Checkers is.
Half a trolley with 3 x 1kg mince, 1 pack of legs and thighs, and 1 pack of skinless breasts for the meat, with the usual monthly supplies for 2 people (excluding toilet paper) came to R3500.

4 Months ago, the same would've cost R2500
