Boss-level LinkedIn networking:

Saw a role go Live early in the AM. I'm a proper fit. LinkedIn Easy Apply + mail with GitHub portfolio sent as per JS + messaged the founder. Positive reception.

Let me just say, you are the first applicant so I have no bar to compare you against, but this does exceed my expectations, so I'd be happy to setup a time to chat if you're seriously interested.

45Min Interview at 13:00.

I can directly relate my side project to this role.

Feeling confident af 😎😁

The 1st of 3 interviews this week, different companies.
 
A few places, we don't fix JBL sound bars no spares, so frak it I took it apart and there was a loose connection going to the one speaker... Pulled it off, cleaned it and put the rubber sleeve back on properly and inserted it back properly... It is now working

Aha, nice of you to ask my guy :D

My longest interview to date, 45mins allocated, went a snip over 50mins (!!). It was with the founder.

Proper questions asked, big thinking, what value do you bring etc

I gave actual practical experience examples.

I was told "you're the best candidate so far".

He likes to move fast so let's see. Not gonna pop anything just yet but he gives off a good vibe & we both have common visions ito growth & such.

I've got a "weird" problem. I got my assessment now to complete for this role (next stage). I already got the structure/approach to answer in my head. I already replied & said I will send it a tad later in the AM.

I got an interview for another role (diff company) in 10mins, my mind is just fixated on yesterday's role & this assessment.

I find it hard to briefly detach :(:rolleyes::unsure:
 
It's Friday, the eve of lovely weekend. I have celebrated this. Just good to acknowledge the end of a hard but successful week. Viva!
 
Took my lad to watch Spiderman this afternoon. He watched it with his school mates. They had an amazing time together.

Me, I enjoyed the movie and looked through Lego at Hamleys and the LCS store in Sandton. For me, it was happiness to see my lad enjoying the movie with his friends.
 
My R8k glasses not breaking after me hitting the ambulance and two people picking them up afterwards to give them to me. Still blows my mind that they survived life is crazy lol.
