Liverpool FC supporters thread - 2017/18 Season

Hendo to Chelsea and we have no real DM, CD or RB... Hope we get some business done soon otherwise we will be in a world of trouble...

its just embarrassing...and worrying in the face of another kak season...
 
need a whole right side purchased...can someone get on the phone with that recruitment team...
 
That new manager must have been thinking ‘wtf did I do?’ Lots of work to do.

We should have got a hiding today. Conceding two kak goals. Twice someone ran from his own half to our box and setup goals. Twice. Not a tackle in sight. Just backpedaling.

Still soft in the center. Unpopular opinion. Salad boy goes back to rb. He was out of the game for large parts of it. Mecca gets stuck in in the center. Rio gets benched while he figures out how to play from the right.

Going to be a long season. We still don’t know how Wirtz fits into this puzzle. And isak. Sigh.
 
Yeah need a Dm.. Also not convinced with our right back or left back options. Got out of jail today and Isak was not in the game hopefully he has a big season as we will need a lot of goals to win matches.
 
- Defensively atrocious.

- We have the weakest LB and RB from the top teams.

- Our midfield made Wissa look like prime Messi.

- Ngumoha (who is a natural LW) can't do a job at right wing, we need a proper right winger.

- Gakpo was our best player, imagine if he'd left for Spurs???

-Szoboszlai and Gravenberch as a pair are horrid. Neither are DM's anyway. Outrageous we haven't bought a 6 this summer or last season.

- Frimpong is one of the worst starting RB's I've seen.

- Serious doubts about Isak as our main ST. Newcastle scammed us for £125m.

- No more excuses for Wirtz, bullied off the ball all game. Maybe PL is just not for him.

-Bench shows our squad depth is a shambles. Hughes needs to be extremely active this week and not just monitoring. Serious questions have been asked about how did we end up with such an imbalanced squad.

-Long season ahead, buckle up...🫣
 
Good to see us get Barcola but not sure another 100m+ signing is what we needed especially on the left. Need to sort out the defence ASAP and still not sure who is gona play RW...

Still need a proper DM before the window closes otherwise we are going to struggle.
 
We basically have 4 left wings, not looking like a promising season but at least it's still early and can only improve from here.
 
The midfield setup is just diabolical. Went from the best fullbacks to the Temu versions we duck with now. Then we still compound it with mistakes. I can’t believe they have ****ed up this rebuild this badly.

And Cody is now going to city as well. Lovely…
 
New boys all looking good - Munoz on the right please (baller), Jacquet and Araujo are solid - both better than Konate.

We’re still a pale shadow in attack compared to the Salah, Mane, Bobby era.

That penalty yesterday was diabolical.

Yeah Isak has really not impressed... The bored malfunction and then the foul throw in makes it sting more but we really didn't deserve to win.. Need need signings before Tuesday but think it's probably to late... At least we have potential this season but our defense will probably cost us in the end.
