Mediocre story, interspersed with a few funny bits. 5/10

Enemy (2013)​

Fantastic performance by Jake Gyllenhaal. The movie conveys a real oppressive mood, and the ending is just WOW. 7.5/10

Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu (2026)​

The acting wasn't the greatest, and the story wasn't anything new. The best part was how cute Grogu was. 6/10

So my kids were born 2009 and 2011 and don't know much about Madiba. A few comments they made to me made me realize they were missing some key SA history on what it was like in the 90's when he became president. Decided showing them Invictus was a good way to at least show them how it was back then, and why Madiba was considered such a great leader.

They really enjoyed it. I'd give it a 8/10.

Wish more young South African's would watch that movie and realize just how far some leaders fall bellow the standard Mandela set. Especially Malema and his cronies.

Agree that is a child friendly version of a glimpse of sanitised Madiba, even though it was about rugby. It was a nice feel good movie even though I don't remember much of him in that movie. When they 18 they can be introduced to the MK movement, terrorism, communism, militancy etc.

The Dink (2026) - 6/10 ... okayish switch off mind comedy.

The Mandalorian & Grogu (2026) - 7.5/10 ... For someone that hates "Star Wars", this was surprisingly good.

Supergirl - 6/10. Not as bad as what people made it out to be. Story is flimsy, action is ok. Lobo stole the show.
