Bought the above love the car but it lacks some voema. Quite a disappointment in that regard. Our 2018 model performance was better. Love the slick infotainment system with maps and navigation. Any other views from someone driving the same car?

They are great little city cars, but as you mention, a bit low on power. I took the Swift Sport out for a test drive; that, however, is much more fun to drive, nice and nippy.

The older one was slightly nippier and weighed almost 100kg less

Your story is much better than mine.

Took delivery of a new Swift GLX on 27 June, the check engine light came on as we left the dealership (32Km on the clock). Suzuki Montana fetched the car on 6 July and has had it since then.

Yeah well you've gone from 4 cylinders to 3, and it's heavier.

That's a lemon. Tell them that due to the defect you want a new vehicle under the CPA.

We already sent the emails to the dealer last week with no reply from them. Tonight emails are going out to Suzuki SA and MIOSA.

I've been shopping around for a used 2025 Swift too and looked at multiple GL+ models with 10-20k KM. Looked at 6 so far and 3 of them had rust at the exact same spots - boot hinges and at the bottom section of the petrol filling area.

The Indian made version we're getting now doesn't have the same quality as the older models.

Just go look at Avis car sales. best secondhand cars you can buy

While we looking for a car for my son the Swift is high on the list, but I am starting to question it.

Who pays 250k plus for a Swift?
You need to up your budget a bit.

Suzuki ranks very high on the safety and reliability index, that is why I decided to get one for my son.

There are lemons with every car brand, I just happened to get one. There was nothing wrong with the car, just the check engine light isn't something I want in a new car.

Did you crawl under the car as well to look?

Suzuki specifically exclude undercarriage rust from their warranty. Suzuki SA also mess you around If you try claim. If you live anywhere near the coast I personally would stay far away.

Or at the very least get a protective coating.
