South Africa has decended into lawlessness

Chair of Eskom’s board of directors, Mteto Nyati, has criticised South Africa’s quiet slide into lawlessness, with many illegal activities being accepted as a part of daily life.

In a post on Twitter/X, Nyati described the situation as a clear breakdown in law and order in the country, which is presented as freedom.

When you voted criminals in to run the country what exactly did you think would happen. That people would obey the law while the government officials did what they wanted. people do not pay because the ANC promised them everything for free in exchange for keeping them in power, so time for the ANC to pay the piper, the hated and despised white man isn't going to just keep on forking out money to support incompetence and outright robbery indefinitely.
