I just don't like the cost of such procedures to the public medical systems. All that money can be used for other things more useful and most would think twice if they knew the cost would come out of their pockets.

I read somewhere that only less than 15% of abortions are due to medical issues on the mom side. The rest are unwanted pregnancies and that bill is being footed by taxpayers. This was US statistics.

I agree. My main point is tax payers shouldnt pay for it. Teenage girl? Parents from both the daughter and the guy must pay for it out of their own pocket. The blame is on all of them.

Adult, pay for it yourself and mandate the guy pay for it also. Real medical reason for needing an abortion? Then taxpayer can pay.

In the US? Doubt any tax is paying for medical :p. In SA probably but our tax is wasted on way worse things to be honest.

Yeah under Biden abortion clinics where getting funded by the US gvt as it was considered a right and all that. I was watching videos of women having multiple abortions (some as much as 5). All paid for by tax payers. They must have some sort of mental illness to be having that many abortions.

The abortion clinics where raking it money from what i saw. Little regulation around it and all that.

Trump im not sure how he is doing it. I recall he wanted abortions only for women with medical reasons and wanted to ban the rest. I dont know if he went through with it.

That was my yard stick too when I was pro. Then I decided who am I to judge and took the safe side in-case there are Pearly Gates.

Would be cheaper and more responsible to offer state funded IUD's to anybody that wants them. 30 min procedure and you can even choose whether you want a hormone or copper based one. Same can be applied to men.

Cost my cousin just short of $40k for an overnight stay in the ICU due to a severe throat infection. When capitalism goes unchecked, it rarely ends well..

Still not taking any chances with the pearly gates. I always thought the heartbeat was like much later but its already beating by the time you realise you pregnant. Anyway, I don't really have much beef in this game. I'll sit on the fence for now then. In the meantime I'll agree that doctors refusing to operate shouldn't happen, but I blame wishy washy wording in laws on this. Like you offer cpr (and you are not a medical professional) to someone on the road and they die, you are held liable these days.
 
Wonder if anyone else living in Tshwane has come across "diverse charges" related to electricity charges on their municipal account? I am on prepaid and have had these charges before - had them removed twice last year as CoT added electricity charges onto my account related to false token purchases made on a different meter number and somehow attached it to ours. Might be that they are forcing solar charges onto municipal accounts once they spot your panels on the roof?

Yeah, If you see an accident or robbery its best not to get directly involved other than just phoning the police or health services. Where I am is even more strict. You can pay a 500k rand fine for saying someone's bag is fake if that person takes offence to it. Tapping a woman on the shoulder can get you into big trouble also in corporate. I see why such laws are there, so I don't complain. Best to mind your own business.

Some sue you for breaking their ribs by accident when giving CPR also.

I reached out to the city of cape town SSEG application department and they have stated that this is false information circulating on websites the COCT charges for single phase AMI meters

I guess everything is ok when the ANC allows non NRS certified equipment to be connected to the grid with batteries in a living space. Also don't see all the other crap we have to have for solar installs
