Game, a retailer once renowned for its deals in South Africa, is battling as more residents shift to online shopping.

An analysis of Massmart's Game store network in South Africa has revealed that the number of stores had dropped from 150 in July 2019 to around 122 in July 2024.

Massmart bought Game and made it a crap store.

Now they are just rebranding Game to what they actually are now, Massmart.
I hope the rebranded stores are different from the current Game stores, or else they will also just fail.

Didn't know any were still open, their standards have dropped over the years, there was a time that Game was the go-to store, but in the last decade or two the stores i went into weren't even a shadow of their former glory days.
