Our Small Business runs our email on Gmail Web and Gmail App on our phones. Our email and domain is hosted by Domains.

Our domain email forwards through to our Gmail's and we read, reply etc on Gmail exclusively with paid Google storage so we have decades of history. I clear the domain mailboxes periodically to ensure they do not get full and block incoming email.

Now Gmail has announced that they will stop Gmail users Replying As from January next year. This means we will not be able to reply to work email within Gmail.

What are our options here - what 100% cloud based solution do you use for yourself or your small business (We are 8 users with about another 5 mailboxes for department mails etc)?

I've just done the same.

See below for a guide, one workspace account can be sufficient if you cutting costs, use aliases then forward to the individual Gmail accounts.

See the note there, i also had a problem with this on the trial :
NOTE: During the trial Google limits the amount of forwarded mail you can send, and even bounces the mails! I recommend keeping the deliver to main mailbox ticked during this time, and monitoring the email logs. Pay up and activate the paid version ASAP so that you can avoid this problem. Gave me a bit of hassle
