The bodies of two teenagers from Gauteng were discovered in a well-known lodge in Sabie on Monday, August 3.

It remains unclear how Grade 11 pupil Cameron Waldeck-Cooks (17) and former pupil Ethan Coetzee (19) died.

Tragic, I remember a story a few years back about a lady who died at Sani Top due to a leak from a gas geyser that wasnt supposed to be used in doors.

Perhaps, just can't recall a story of two people accidentally overdosing at the same time. I can get the idea of one person making a mistake and overdosing, two people both succumbing to an OD, without any warnings or alarms being raised...just seems weird.

A gas leak seems like a more plausible explanation to me, short of tangible evidence either way.

Do you still not know what words mean? I mean you couldn't distinquish between insure and ensure. Now you don't know what a police probe is.

When police "probe for an overdose," they are actively investigating the root cause behind a person's sudden medical emergency or death. They look for evidence to determine if illicit drugs or toxic substances were involved, whether foul play played a role, and who supplied the substances.

They aren't saying it was drugs or overdose, but they are checking to ensure if it is or isn't. Plus both dying of overdose??? Unless there is a really bad drug going around it's a very slim chance.

But yeah the gas is a rumour right now, probably linked to the actual cases where this happens.

Inquest docket: Mpumalanga police opened an official inquest to investigate the circumstances.

Pending results: Post-mortem examinations and forensic tests are required to definitively establish how the teenagers died.

Rumors vs. Facts: Law enforcement has not yet verified or released any findings pointing to gas poisoning or appliance failure.

And then when waking up further and seeing that it wasnt confirmed said so in a follow up post.
I didn't double down, didn't throw my toys out a cot stamping my feet saying it is.
Would you like me to edit the post or in future put in, things may change as more evidence is released.
