It worked since CNN are complaining nobody told them. If this wasn't leaked by someone then nobody would've know that they moved him into another aircraft.

That part I get, its more the fact that once it was leaked it only took a person about 10 seconds to find out how it was done and the method is out of a B grade Hollywood movie that is strapped for cash basically.
