End of the day, Israel, via it's actions, has killed an awful lot of people including woman and children in their quest to eradicate Hamas. Some people view that support as untenable to a friendship.

Supporting Hamas & supporting Israel are not equivalent though. That is mischief same as some equate (I probably did the same at one stage - not sure) Hamas with palestinians.

Fair enough, but why not do a like for like? If a mate of mine said he supported Palestine, would I be friends with him? Of course I would. I also support Palestine.

As you and others have pointed out 100 times, Hamas does not speak for many Palestianians in the same way "Israel" as you put it, does not speak for many "Israeli's".

As I've said 100 times, I'm on the side of the people on both sides. They both deserve better "leaders"

Fair point, people on each side tend to view supporters of the state as synonamous with the government of the day.

Therefore, if you support Palestine , that means you support Hamas.
If you support Israel, that means you support Netenyahau and all the his government does.

More nuance is needed i guess, you can support Palestinians in there quest for a fair deal without supporting Hamas, and you can support the quest of average Israeli's to leave in peace, without supporting Benjie and his cronies. Too many people make it very black and white.
