I dunno tbh.

Their polling much closer to the time is relatively accurate, these current polls are just a taste of the current state of play, but the ANC hasn't really started electioneering yet. I wouldn't be surprised to see them climb to 25% after they start their little bus.

Granted, I also wouldn't be surprised to see them fall further than 18% even with electioneering if they continue fscking about with the city.
 
Yeah, I will have more confidence in their polls in mid to late October and I do expect the current ANC's derisory vote share to increase closer to election time but they are coming off a super low base, which should worry the ANC. Back in the day, they'd easily be sitting on a base vote of 40% or higher in competitive metros and well over 50% in the safer ones.

But what can the Libation Movement realistically do from now until Nov 4 when its “election machine” kicks into gear

Yeah.

I mean don't get me wrong, a reducing unemployment rate is not a bad thing, but we need to have the full picture and the state of the economy in eSchitweni is nowhere near as rosy as it is in CoCT in terms of being able to find a job if you are looking.

Too many people I know in eSchitweni have literally given up looking because there is fsckall for them.
