French envoy disciplined over alleged sexual misconduct involving 30 African women

France’s ambassador to the Central African Republic has been disciplined for sexual misconduct with around 30 local women at his official residence in Bangui, according to French media.

Ambassador Bruno Foucher brought around 30 women between the ages of 20 and 30 into his residence between January 2024 and March 2026, according to French magazine Le Canard Enchaine.

These late-night visits, some of which involved the women sleeping over, reportedly alarmed Foucher’s security detail, who alerted his higher-ups in Paris.

A ambassador job must be exceptionally boring, what do you even do when there is no drama and your country is peacefully existing with your host country?

I don't recall any of our own ambassadors to America before Trump.

The guy is a security risk. Hasn't he heard of the huge security scandal involving a CIA office admin named Sharon Scranage and her local Ghanaian beau who happened to be a Ghanaian operative?
