I think thats whats missing from the headline.

Plenty of private schools have results like that, its only notable that this government school has achived this.
 
Afrikaanse Hoër Meisieskool has always been academically excellent, this is not new.

Much higher standard than the boys school.

Its a "semi-private" or fee-paying school or whatever they call model c schools these days - and that essentially means it's a 95% private school, that just needs to jump through a few extra hoops to dodge the drama the state throws their way.
