MTN AirFibre relaunched at R499 per month for 80Mbps

MTN South Africa has relaunched its AirFibre products with new packages at lower prices under the name “MTN AirFibre”. AirFibre is still available as a Supersonic product.

The new catalogue builds on previous SuperSonic products, offering high-quality Wi-Fi Internet connections that can match fibre-like speeds, with the fastest new product hitting 300Mbps.

It's faster than my fixed line fibre and cheaper. Openserve are clearly ripping us off.

I believe they cut your speed to 4 mbps if you exceed your allocated amount and that is how they can claim uncapped in legal terms. It's still not a bad deal for casual users.
There is no classical FUP on this as far as I know

Those ads all say "fibre"

Could be that MBB are mistaken. MTN themselves don't mention an FUP. I am going on the assumption that there is an FUP, knowing MTN, until proven otherwise.

is there a Süpersonic rep on the forum ?

Süpersonic slapped me with a R2000 device clawback invoice, yet I never requested to cancel the Airfibre service & wish to continue using it.
