Professor at centre of plagiarism row resigns from University of Cambridge

Arguably, the most devastating exposé on Arday was published in that noted hard-right outlet, the Guardian, establishing that his claims about a pig’s head being left at his parents’ door and being menaced with a knife in his faculty building were not borne out by the evidence.

Does the Guardian have ‘blood on its hands’, too?
🤪 :laugh::laugh::laugh:

Weird how their seems to be as much, if not more vitriol thrown at this suicider who was a mere BS artist, than the suicider in the other (Sabie) thread who murdered his GF.

You'd think there'd be no comparison at all.
Seriously comparing apples with bananas here.

One was a unknown teenager who killed his girlfriend. The other was known word-wide as the pinnacle of DEI and second only to God himself in what he accomplished.

I'm not asking anyone to mourn him. And no-one really knew about him at all on a wider scale until he was bust for plagiarism etc. You make him sound like a household name. So nah, I still think murder is worse.

Let's not let Julius know about this - just now he'll start singing "BS the boer, BS the farmer" and God knows how we would recover from the trauma of that.

Can someone explain why he’s become the face of DEI? Were his qualifications (assuming they were real as the people hiring him thought they were) not good enough to get him the position? Or is any person of colour in a high position considered DEI now?

Too many allegations to do here.

Here’s one of the articles about him

Edit

Here’s the original substack

Some people here asked very similar questions when that PRASA 'engineer' started getting heat.

Looks like you are of superior Aryan race ?
Well...when looking at history, it would seem so yes.

Regardless of your cherry picking these irrelevant plagiarism cases, you do seem to be obsessed about superior Aryan race and hi IQ people in general.

It is a definite theme with you, when you get emotional and upset about white people...also a theme with you.

Feeling inferior like you obviously do, is not our fault.

We're too busy running the world, to worry about people like you.

When he submitted his thesis, the university (LJMU) was using the Turnitin plagiarism detection software. Apparently they used this as a development tool for increasing student awareness on plagiarism and not an examination tool. The staff had the final say and the use of the software was not mandatory.

When I submitted my thesis the local university had the use of the Turnitin software as a mandatory requirement, together with a plagiarism score below a threshold value. My main problem was that some of the numerical data in the tables had similar values to the large online databases of financial data. I had to specifically flag this for my supervisor. This software is very sensitive and would likely have picked up Arday's plagiarism if LJMU had decided to take it into account rather than glossing over it.

One has to wonder whether the thesis was even read, given that there was a glaring grammatical error in the title:
