The new family restaurant in South Africa, where people are lining up out the door every day to get inside

largely designed around this large children’s area, with a focus on catering to families.
So glad I'm not the target demographic, just imagine having to eat spur slop and listen to other peoples kids.

If they could ditch those irritating birthday drums, and screaming kids running around i'm not entirely against going to Spur.

The Army's food was so good thousands stood in queues everyday for it. For many years.
I think that is a large part of the reason I don't stand in a queue for more than a few minutes anymore. Also don't forget that if you stepped out of that particular queue and left, they hunted you down and locked you up.

Also had a fancy, schmancy, varkpan!!

That wass next level classy. Not forgetting the wonderful communal wash space for when you were done

As to lining up for Spur?
🤮

Well the Spur was half decent back then, or maybe it just felt that way when compared to the varkpan and the greasy washing up water.

And if you dropped your doily…… opfok time.

HAHAHA - imagine queuing to overpay for a kak burger and kak chips. No thanks. I can do much better at home at a fraction of the cost, with no noisy children!

Taking on play parks is a very savvy idea from this franchise owner.

At the new play park around the corner from us, you will pay R320 for 2 hours for a <3 year old and an adult, and R250 for 3->5 for 2 hours.

For one toddler and 2 small children, that is R820 for 2 hours. And that has no food whatsoever.
