Millionaire town collapsing in front of everyone’s eyes

And when you look at any collapsing municipality in the country, it very quickly becomes clear that the same 3 or 4 parties are always involved, and that sinking billions of Rand into them will not make any difference other than the money disappearing of course. This country actively votes to be a fourth world cesspit.
 
Much of Knysna’s instability has been attributed to the prevalence of an alliance between the ANC, the EFF, the Patriotic Alliance, and Plaaslike Besorgde Inwoners (PBI).

Instead of fulfilling the promises made in their election manifesto, the coalition shifts focus to internal political manoeuvring, resulting in tender corruption, delays, and bureaucracy.
