Very important little change: As of Oct. 1, 2026 – Introduce a free monthly tier of service messages, to enable businesses to maintain an always-on presence on WhatsApp. Each month, every phone number will receive 1,000 free service messages, and only the 1,001st onward will incur a charge. most people ignore the business nonsense on Whatsapp as well. They only engage when they need to.Firstly, SMS/MMS get largely ignored.
