I'm having same issues here in JHB, been speaking with @CoolEscalator about it. Could you help with mine tooAlso a heads-up for Cape Town Openserve customers we have been waiting on an NNI upgrade from Openserve for a couple days now. I am escalating this to exec level now.
NNI is saturating at peak times.
Down in JHB too.My Openserve connection is dead in Bloem. Changed DNS, manual, default. Nada. It connects to my CISP account, but there is no throughput whatsoever![]()

HI there, thank you for reaching out.Anything that you aware of that is happening in Rooihuiskraal Centurion?
Its been a week now of up and down connectivity, started when a line was severed and never been fixed decently.
Logged a ticket yesterday, by the time they go to the ticket, this morning, line was up again.
No connectivity again.

All lights on ONT is green, no internet.
Restarted, no change.
For the JHB reports here, it seems there was an issue with the CGNAT AR which resulted in the no connection issue. Currently resolved.

Lets see what they come up with, no issue on local network, as I tried to do a pppoe connection from laptop directly plugged into ONT, and it could not reach host to establish connection.HI there, thank you for reaching out.
Your line appears to be very intermittent. Which is likely an isolated issue since you mentioned other people in the area appear fine.
This doesn't necessarily mean there is an issue with coolideas, as there could be a fibre issue affecting your line specifically, or your internal network possibly.
Our team will troubleshoot and investigate further.
Apologies for any disruption.
If its capping at 90, that is normally a LAN negotiation issue. So would recommend making sure the router ports are clean, and perhaps the LAN cable replaced with another cable and see if anything changes.Lets see what they come up with, no issue on local network, as I tried to do a pppoe connection from laptop directly plugged into ONT, and it could not reach host to establish connection.
Line came up a couple of minutes ago, now maxing out at under 90mb instead of 500mb.
Please make sure they don't just close the ticket untill it realy resolved, as yesterday's ticket was closed the moment they was i was connected....
Right, seems you keep pointing to my end, so connected 2 different laptops with 2 different ethernet cables pppoe connection directlyto ONT, the connection properties shows 1gb connection. 2 speed tests, one maxing at 67mb other one 93mb.If its capping at 90, that is normally a LAN negotiation issue. But this sounds a lot like a router issue from what I can see. But lets not jump to conclusions.
I have relayed your message through on the ticket![]()
Thank you for the additional information. If that's the case then yes it may be something else causing the speed issue.Right, seems you keep pointing to my end, so connected 2 different laptops with 2 different ethernet cables pppoe connection directlyto ONT, the connection properties shows 1gb connection. 2 speed tests, one maxing at 67mb other one 93mb.
