Whatever we make of the past, biggest problem is today's ANC doesn't give a hoot anymore at all. Who knows what MK will do with us either, now or later, but how good can it be with Zuma running it.....

Its idiotic because IPP had to compete with 10c/kWh price in 1999. How do they do that? How does selling off eskom help? We needed more generation, not redistributed generation.

How did selling off YSKOR help? YSKOR was arguably as efficient and streamlined as Eskom back then. Yet splitting it up and privatising it was a winning idea for everyone involved
