In SA the summer rainfall area seems more likely to be affected by El Nino events. However much of the Western Cape has already had a rather dry winter rainfall season, so Cape Town could also suffer, and water restrictions are already rumoured. The southern Cape coastline already had loads of rain (too much in some places), so most dams are already full.
Last year there were already so many fires far to close for comfort.
Actually quite worried about this summer if there is gonna be even less rain.
