CPUs, at least on the Intel side, are increasing. Board prices are also set to increase

I upgraded my gaming rig in March last year via Amazon US - one item was 64GB of Patriot DDR5 @$150. Current offers are $1500+. WTF!!!

Glad I upgraded ahead of all this and will not have to worry about a new system for a good few years.
