Its likely he is the target of a smear campaign/witch hunt... and its also entirely possible that his company breached foreign exchange controls.

But that will come out in the investigation, fines will be paid if they did and things will move on as they always do with these sorts of technical things.

This has been going on for a year already, so let's be honest and say there is a case to be answered here, and like it or not Mark, if a company you are associated with at this level is found guilty, then you need to fall on your sword. The DA cannot have you involved in their finances knowing your own company was involved in dodgy dealings of any sort. As a politician you do not even need to be found guilty, the simple fact that the company is found to have been involved in questionable actions means your integrity and moral values are in question. I wouldn't be surprised if the ANC are using this to target you, but lets be honest you handed them the smoking gun yourself.
