The CPU adds extra frames? That’s crazy!will also play faster and smoother
If it’s playing faster, does the sound go all high pitched as well? A 2hr movie becomes 1hr?

Wonder if this box will play it smoothly.Recently got the same setup and playing remux files super smooth. Some minor lagging on 110GB Avatar file during high action scenes but that is really really pushing the box to its limits.
An 80gb movie from a Plex share will also play faster and smoother but yes it's got the Apple logo and Apple sucks.
No reply to this shame lol7 year old device can't keep up.
That was added in the current gen, mostly for all the samsung suckers.My Apple TV doesn’t have the power to decode HDR10+
Yea - only the 3rd generation.That was added in the current gen, mostly for all the samsung suckers.
Sure but the same has been going on since the dawn of computing, the next gen always bests the last. It's the nature of progress to move forward.Yea - only the 3rd generation.
Every generation leaves something out because of ‘hardware or computing power’.

Hey Apple gets updates more often and longer time... Forgetting that it is required cause even basic apps are tied intrinsically to the OS, so even simple things like browser and maps needs an entire update. What is forgotten is generally that is all that is changed in a lot of the "updates"100%
I think the difference is that ;
* Apple software restrict features
* Tell everyone how great their updates are
But they’re not really better than anyone else at the end of the day

Well the version number changesHey Apple gets updates more often and longer time
Oh fully agreed in those circumstances.But generally those restrictions are forced due to lack of hardware/resources. I certainly won't having a much touted feature that runs like crap on my system as I don't have X hardware/resource. Rather not give it to me in the first place.
That statement is factual and correct though. Steers is the best regardless of what burger you've only ever had.Its like saying Steers is the best burger you ever had, but the only other burger you had was McDonalds
Patties are always cold and R187 for the Mighty King Steers combo vs R150 at Burger King. Nevermind at BK I can refill the drink as I please.That statement is factual and correct though. Steers is the best regardless of what burger you've only ever had.

Funny then the EPG takes much longer to refresh.It is more than keeping up, despite being 7 years old, my AppleTV 4k 128 gig box, with ethernet port, is just not quiet making the grade
Genuine question just for the sake of FOMO. What is not making the grade? I have an 2nd gen 2k Apple tv, so just want to know what will I be missing out on, maybe I dont use it right.It is more than keeping up, despite being 7 years old, my AppleTV 4k 128 gig box, with ethernet port, is just not quiet making the grade
