I don't need anything special, just something that has decent security. Don't need a signal that reaches to the moon...

Edit: Oh and something that isn't going to break in 3 months.

Ok, I'm leaning toward the TP-LINK ARCHER AX55 | AX3000 DUAL-BAND GIGABIT WI-FI 6 ROUTER.

Hey, I run the Cudy WR3000 (AX3000), specifically the V1 .0 variant. It has OpenWRT support, which makes it a powerhouse of a router . Highly recommend ; never had any problems.

Yep, running OpenWRT 25.12.5 . Runs like a charm. Flashing is pretty easy ; just make sure you have the V1.0 variant; any other does not work with OpenWRT.

Thanks, I was having connectivity problems and thought the router was the problem. Turns out it wasn't, so not looking for a new router right now Will keep it in mind though as mine is an old router.
