Have purchased over 10 of their sim cards and can highly recommend them.

Positives:

-Quick and easy rica and porting process over whatsapp. If any issues, their whatsapp support team are swift to help.

-Decent app, top up etc on the app.

-Esims working great.

- Voice at R0.69, billed per second. Sms at R0.25. Amongst the best.

-NON EXPIRING DATA is the major draw card.
I use these for backup LTE at a few businesses as well, when fibre goes down the routers failover to LTE. So far so good
No need for contracts anymore for these backup lte sims.

-Runs on MTN, so great signal and speeds. My speeds actually went up after the port. Not sure if mtn coincidentally made some changes on their network.

-APN now is the standard mymtn apn. So automatically works without any hassle. In some cases the LTE routers needed to be manually configured.

-They sent me free data / sim cards with every order made so far.

Negatives:

-No VoWifi and VoLTE just yet. Apparently this is MTNs doing and all VNOs should have these features later this year.

-No way to opt out of marketing sms / WhatsApp messages which they send out. Only way to do it is to block their number. Works.

-I feel that they should use OTPs to log into their app rather than a 5 digit fixed password (or in addition to it) , which could be compromised.

Is the 2GB you get with your R2 eSim also non expiring?

Another negative is all the spam. Luckily it comes from the same number you can just block.
I noticed on iPhone there is an option to hide alerts for contacts, I’m hoping that means you get sms but not notification of it.

On samsung messages as well, one can mute certain conversations which prevents notifications. Google messages doesn't offer this yet.

No wifi calling yet, which is irritating.
