There is a diminishing rate of returns for sure.
Compare an iPhone 17 pro max (R27k), vs an iPhone 16e (R11k)

The max has a bigger screen, better camera, bigger battery and faster processor.


But its not like the 16e is a slouch or has a bad camera, or has bad battery capacity.
