The biggest threat is the companies and people creating the AI models not securing what they are doing and in effect allowing the theft of the Ai models in the first place.
I have spotted another treand in minor attacks on our end.
A.I bots donno how to explain it so here goes
If a store or a site has filters they use them in the URL string right but instead of 1 or 2 things they tick close to everything this creates extra tasks from browser to site to SQL Database now multiple this hit by a few thousand or hundreds depending on the type of attack its all bots no humans judging by the headers, the issue is as well is its 1 IP per hit
You can ban that 1 IP it wont matter it wont come back maybe does and hits once but it and 50 more from one range with 5 to 6 other ranges cause (lot more really) your processes to eat up and there goes resources wasted.
I made some modifications and i noticed they using SA IP's afterwards various ones to IPS vodacom /Rain / maybe MTN as well unsure if its servers in SA thats compromised and peoples PC's same story same method 1 IP hits.
So had to put geo blocks on these types as well as a warning for ZA ips with a trap if it continues i.e 1 hit IP gets msg header is 404 continues to hit gets banned.
I find this rather annoying but i watched them on the firewall adjust themselves to try and by pass my rules but its to the point where its harmless now.
Do i know who it is nope probably legit bots scrapping product data and feeding it back to its owner without Thinking how aggressive the bot is doing it and ignoring robots honestly go do this at vendors dont come steal my sites product descriptions in the first place with a bot.
The amount of comments supporting Government on this with "yes we don't want Elon and USA spying on us with their satellites" is just sad as it shows the complete and total misunderstanding of the technology lol. There's a LOT of people who think our Gov saying no means the Starlink nodes are hitting a brick wall up in space and not in orbit over us lol...
yet everyone in the world uses american tech somewhere. i.e Facebook , X, microsoft software which has been proven to be used against goverments during attacks by USA. Also why EU is moving away from these companies heck facebook is the biggest spy network on the planet in my opion mostly to sell your data for profit which is for advertisement funny enough.
If anything
America spies on you via Software and phones hardware
while china spies on you via Hardware
and so forth
if people dont want to be spied on
go offline completely.
also satalite wise i mean Cia has their own SATS so does everyone else heck the SR71 was perfect example during the 70s. now your phone spies on you.
Honestly social media has become entertainment at best last few years (videos etc).Unless you are a billionaire high up offical or a crime lord you dont really need to worry too much. Not like they going to enslave people like in Terminator etc.
